Dimitris G. Michalopoulos obtained his Ph.D. at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, in Paris. He has served as the Curator of the Archives of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Constantine Karamanlis (1980-1982), Lecturer and Assistant Professor of Diplomatic and Balkan History at the Aristotelian University of Salonika (1982-1994), Professor of European History at the Naval War College of Greece (1990-1997), and Professor of Naval History at the Naval Academy of Greece (1994-1997). From 1990 to 2000, he was Director of the Museum of the City of Athens, and served from 2004 to 2011 as Acting Director of the Historical Institute for Studies on Eleutherios Venizelos and his Era. He is currently an Acting Academic Advisor to the Institute of Hellenic Maritime History and lectures on Greek and Balkan History at the People’s University, Athens.

Subir Ranjan Kundu is a senior researcher and non-fiction writer in the interdisciplinary fields of conservation, molecular and evolutionary biology. He was previously a research fellow at the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden, under the Botanical Survey of India, Howrah, India and successfully conducted studies on in situ conservation models at the university of Calcutta (Kolkata). Dr. Kundu received his M.Sc. in botany from Kanpur University, specializing in cytogenetics and plant breeding, and his Ph.D. in botany from the University of Calcutta, specializing in phytogeography, conservation, and evolutionary biology. He is the author of five books on conservation, molecular, and evolutionary biology, and has published numerous journal publications on conservation and evolutionary biology.

Dilek Bulut Sarıkaya is an adjunct Assistant Professor of English at Cappadocia
University, in Turkey. She graduated from English Language and Literature Department
at Gaziantep University in 2000 and received her masters and doctoral degrees at
Hacettepe University.

G. Srilatha is Associate Professor and Head of the English Department at the P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts & Science in Vijayawada, India.

Scott B. Nelson is Research and Strategy Advisor at the Austrian Economics Center and the Hayek Institute, in Vienna, Austria. He is the author of Tragedy and History: The German Influence on Raymond Aron’s Political Thought. Nelson holds a B.A. in Greek and Roman Studies from the University of Calgary, an M.A. in Advanced International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, and a doctorate from the University of Vienna.

Matthew Edwards is an analyst and consultant, based in Vienna, who focuses on security affairs, political risk, and international development. Prior to the private sector, he previously worked in the UK Civil Service, including for the UK Ministry of Defence. He has authored numerous articles, reports, and papers for government, business, and public audiences, including on themes such as resource politics, counterterrorism, and state and policy development, and has presented at conferences, workshops, and seminars. In addition to his M.A. in War Studies from King’s College, London, he has a B.A.(Hons.) in History from the University of York and is currently undertaking an MLitt in Viking Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands.

A scholar of Renaissance drama and Jungian psychology, James P. Driscoll, Ph.D., explores psychological approaches to the arts, religion, and public philosophy. He has written seven previous books: Identity in Shakespearean Drama, The Unfolding God of Jung and Milton, Shakespeare and Jung: The God in Time, Shakespeare’s Identities, How AIDS Activists Challenged America, Jung’s Cartography of the Psyche, and The Devil and Dr. Fauci. Driscoll has long applied his academic skills and original thinking to the LGBT, HIV, and patient rights causes. During the 1990s, he led the AIDS activist movement for FDA reform. Since then, he has distinguished himself with trenchant criticisms of oppressive bureaucracies and his work implementing critical reforms.

Emrah Akyüz is Associate Professor of Environmental Policy and Energy Politics at Bingol University, in Turkey. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Leeds with a thesis on the effects of the Fukushima and Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accidents on human rights.

He received his Ph.D. at Yale University and also studied at the Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, and at the Sorbonne and École Normale Supérieure in Paris. He has taught French at St. Norbert College for the past 5 years, as well as at Miami University of Ohio, Yale, Nihon University in Japan, the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and at the Johns Hopkins University Center for International studies at Nanjing University, in China. He has published five previous books, including The Dreyfus Affair and the Emergence of the French Intellectual, 1898-1914. He and his wife Ikuko live in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Tokyo.
